NCMA Certified Contract Management Associate (CCMA) Practice Exam

The Contract Management Standard™ is developed through a systematic process that involves input and collaboration from materially affected and interested parties. This ensures that the standard is comprehensive, practical, and reflective of best practices within the field of contract management. This collaborative approach helps to achieve consensus among diverse stakeholders, addressing varying interests and enhancing the overall relevance and applicability of the standard.

In contrast, publications like the Contract Management Body of Knowledge primarily serve as educational resources and may not undergo the same rigorous stakeholder engagement process. A National Specification typically refers to a set of guidelines or standards that may be specific to a particular industry or sector, emphasizing compliance and operational details rather than broad contract management principles. Similarly, Contract Life Cycle Guidelines provide a framework for understanding the phases of contract management but may not be established through the same collaborative method as the Contract Management Standard™.
